our experience even more enjoyable. The private open-air bath had breathtaking views of Lake Biwa, though we did find the futons a bit uncomfortable. Additionally, please prepare for limited options nearby. chilling in nature is truly the highlight.

Positive, I had such a great stay! The private open-air bath was very nice with gorgeous views. The food was a culinary delight, especially dinner in our own little room. Plus, the staff were super accommodating, helping us find the right yukata sizes. It was a lovely getaway!

I loved my stay! The spacious room boasted an very nice view over the lake from the open-air bath, providing the perfect relaxation spot. The outdoor swimming pool was beautifully maintained, and I enjoyed unwinding there after a long day exploring.

Enjoyed the luxurious dining experience with exquisite Japanese cuisine and the attentive service that made our stay special, especially the private onsen with breathtaking views.

The room lacked modern amenities, specifically an indoor shower, which was unexpected for a high-end ryokan.

Staying at Yuzanso was quite the experience. Traveled from Kyoto to Ogoto Onsen Station effortlessly, thanks to a complimentary shuttle that whisked us away. Our room with a private open-air bath boasted stunning views of Lake Biwa, making it a perfect relaxation spot. The spacious layout allowed for a cozy dining area and a comfortable tatami sleeping area. The kaiseki dinner was impressive, with a variety of traditional dishes. however, the seafood was a bit too adventurous for my tastes. Breakfast had a generous spread and every dish was thoughtfully presented. Service was attentive. staff helped with yukata sizing and were friendly throughout our stay. A small downside, while the room amenities were great, the lack of wifi in the room was unexpectedly inconvenient.

For dads, it would be great if the shuttle service could also provide more options for nearby attractions.
